so i know a few of you but not most of you. What are y'all into? like obviously i fucking know you like dinosaurs, or else you wouldnt follow a dinosaur a day. I'm talking like, what about paleontology? Really diggin cladistics? Sweet. More of an ecology person. Fuckin' rad. I'm just curious what kind of group we have going here. I'll start, I'm really into biomechanics and ecology. I really dig thyreophorans, the cuddly bastards. Now its your turn.

I'm really into motherfucking CLADISTICS and I'm interested in patterns of macroevolution Big picture shit, like the history of life over all time, that sort of thing I love the big picture man BIG PICTURE

Cladistics, ecology, some things involving anatomy, behavior, and some other things. And I love pterosaurs and coelurosaurs

My main interest would be the K-T/K-Pg extinction. I refuse to acknowledge that it was just an asteroid or that could have been only the asteroid and the Deccan traps (mainly because I thought of the asteroid+Deccan traps combo before the Berkeley crew announced it. Sob). The "Acid rain dissolved all of the dinosaur bones at the K-T boundary" theory is also something I dwell on too much. Behavior is pretty neat, too.
Dinosaur-wise, if it is a theropod, I love it. There are no exceptions.

Not a palaeontology specialist, but I dabble in art as well as some cladistics. My main interests, though, have more to do with stats, programs, and genetics.

My preference goes toward paleobiology, i.e., figuring out how critters lived and the limits of one's knowledge in that regard. As for the life forms themselves, there's too many to pick favourites.

OK. You asked for it, man. Although you already know me...Regardless.
I love science so much omg. I'm interested in palaeontology and zoology as a whole. If I could focus on anything particular in these sciences, it would be...well shoot. I really, *really* like birds, to the point where I'm seriously considering going into ornithology. I also love marine tetrapods, especially cetaceans and walruses. If I had to focus on that last group in particular...Beaked whales?
Evolutionary biology, especially considering the above groups, fascinates me. I have numerous books on the subjects.
If I had to focus on something in palaeontology...hmmm. I want to know more about palaeoecology, because it's so awesome to be able to reconstruct ecosystems that haven't existed for millions of years. The evolution and palaeontology of cetaceans and birds is of great interest to me. I'm generally interested in palaeobiology. As much as I dislike the man, John Horner put it best when he said. "I don't give a [darn] how they died! I want to know how they lived!"
In terms of favorite organism groups, I've got cetaceans, birds, Strigiformes, Sphenisciformes, palaeognaths, archosaurs as a whole, ceratopsians, mosasaurs, crocodylians, etc. Gah! My favorites are all over the place!

I like a little bit of everything, but I'm especially thrilled when we discover things about appearance and behavior in ancient critters.
