This science fiction show has featured dinosaurs three times over its fifty-year existence - Invasion of the Dinosaurs (1974), Dinosaurs on a Spaceship (2012), and Deep Breath (2015). What did you think of the dinosaurs as they appeared on screen? Which Doctor Who story involving dinosaurs is your favorite? I really loved Deep Breath, but the dinosaur was... not exactly accurate. That said, the Doctor translating her roars in his sleep and promising to take her back was very beautiful.
Invasion of the Dinosaurs was very charming too, but I honestly thought the dinosaurs were the least interesting part of it. The fact that they got majorly shafted by the special effects people probably contributed to that.

Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Even if the episode wasn't *good* per se, and featured unacceptably unfeathered dinosaurs ripped right from Primeval, it was a lot of fun.

Yeah, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship was a fun romp. And hey, it revealed Rory is the lost Weasley brother and had Mitchell&Webb as robots, so that was fun.

Every time inaccurate dinosaurs pop up in Doctor Who, my first response is to blame the Rani.
