This IS dinosaur related, but, for lack of a better place to put it, it's going here. Over at the PalaeoVerse blog, I run an ongoing palaeontology news blog post series which I refer to as NFTWON (after Tetrapod Zoology's News from the World of News) where I post information about the latest discoveries in vertebrate (and occasionally other fields of) palaeontology; this thread is intended to be an extension of that. This thread is a place for me to share palaeontology news, and for you all to discuss and add to it (if you think you've found something interesting that hasn't been mentioned in the thread, feel free to add it in!) If you're looking for comprehensive and instantaneous palaeontology news sources, the Dinosaur Mailing List is a great place to begin.

Here's an exclusive preview of tomorrow's NFTWON post on the ornithschians discovered last month! Ugrunaaluk kuukpikensis, an Edmontosaurus-like hadrosaur from Alaska. Mosaiceratops azumai, a primitive ceratopsian from Early Cretaceous China. Horshamosaurus rudgwickensis, a British ankylosaur formerly classified as Polacanthus. More details (plus link to post) coming tomorrow!
