Source: www.snipview.com/q/Demandasaurus (Raúl Martín) Name: Demandasaurus darwini Name Meaning: Demanda Lizard First Described: 2011 Described By: Fernández-Baldor et al. Demandasaurus was a rebbachisaurid from the late Barremian to early Aptian ages of the Early Cretaceous, about 125 million years ago. It was found in the Castrillo la Reina Formation in Burgos Province, Spain. It was somewhere between 10 and 12 meters long and is known from limited fossil material and would probably have been similar to Rebbachisaurus and Nigersaurus. In all, Darwin didn’t have a very demanding sauropod named after him.
