Yo, so I'll be posting palaeoart I do from now on in this thread. I figure I'll start off with my latest, which is a drawing of Neovenator salerii done in HB pencil on A3 paper. It was 1:20 scale on paper, but that will change depending on what resolution your monitor is and how far you zoom in, etcetera. You can find a larger version on my DeviantArt, here: thewoodparable.deviantart.com/art/Neovenator-salerii-scale-drawing-568125221Comments, criticisms, etc. are welcome! Hope you enjoy, and I'll be posting more stuff in this thread in the future!

Your reconstruction of Dakotaraptor is absolutely gorgeous! I really dig the brown color you chose, I especially love the head and the detailed dark shoulder feathers. Everything about it is A+

Thanks! I only noticed after I'd decided on a colour scheme that it's vaguely similar to that of Aquila chrysaetos. I guess there was some subconscious inspiration there.

The only thing I don't like about feathered dinos is feathers are damn hard to draw, so I really admire when they're done right, like here!

It's definitely an effort, but I think it's worth it.
