Their facts and depictions of prehistoric beasts may be outdated but do I ever love me a good retro prehistory documentary. For example The Dinosaurs! by PBS, which was a huge staple of my childhood, so much so that I can recite certain excerpts basically word for word. Prehistoric Australia is another documentary I'm extremely fond of, although I only discovered it recently. One more example is The Lost Dinosaurs of New Zealand, an interesting show that sheds light on some more obscure dinos. So how about you guys? How do you all feel about older documentaries?

It's intriguing to see the evolution of concepts and reconstructions over time - and through old documentaries we can explore this in a scientific context. They're all pretty well-made, really.

The one I mentioned in another thread, the stop-motion by Phil Tippet is still beautiful.
